A new circuit. The inaugural Madrid weekend.

The 2026 Spanish Grand Prix is the first F1 race at Madring, the new 5.4 kilometer circuit at IFEMA Madrid. The layout combines purpose-built racing sections with semi-street sections through the exhibition complex. Inaugural-year races deliver a kind of energy that established venues cannot match.

The circuit sits roughly ten kilometers northeast of central Madrid, minutes from Madrid-Barajas Airport. Transfers from the city are short and the post-race return is faster than at almost any other European Grand Prix.

Madrid is one of Europe's standout weekend cities.

The Prado, the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, the Salamanca shopping district, and one of Europe's best dining scenes all sit within a short walk of the featured hotels. Featured property: Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid or Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.

The race weekend runs September 11–13, 2026. The package includes four nights in Madrid. Easy to extend to Toledo, Segovia, San Sebastian, Andalusia, or onward to Barcelona.

Questions about the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix.

Why should I go to the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix?

The 2026 race is the inaugural Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, on the new Madring circuit at IFEMA Madrid. Spain's race moves to the capital for the first time. The combination of a brand-new circuit, the energy of an opening-year event, and Madrid as a base city makes this one of the most distinctive weekends on the F1 calendar.

How many days should I plan for the Spanish Grand Prix?

Plan four nights. Arrive Thursday September 10. Friday is practice, Saturday is qualifying, Sunday is race day. Depart Monday September 14 or extend in Madrid, to Toledo, Segovia, or onward to Andalusia or San Sebastian.

When should I book my 2026 Spanish Grand Prix trip?

Six to nine months ahead is the right window. Madrid has strong luxury hotel inventory, but inaugural-year demand for the new race is expected to be heavy and the best properties move fast. Start the conversation early to secure your hotel preference.

What is the weather like in Madrid in September?

Early September in Madrid is warm and dry, with daytime highs around 28 to 32 Celsius and clear skies most days. Evenings cool down comfortably. Pack for warm sun at the circuit and lighter layers for evenings in the city.

What does premium hospitality include at the Spanish Grand Prix?

Premium options range from grandstand seats with strong sightlines on the Madring layout to Paddock Club, which includes pit lane walk, gourmet dining, open bar, grid access where offered, and suite viewing across the weekend. Racing Passport matches the viewing tier to your situation during the consultation.

Where is the Madring circuit?

Madring is built on and around the IFEMA Madrid exhibition complex, about ten kilometers northeast of central Madrid. The circuit is roughly 5.4 kilometers and combines purpose-built sections with semi-street sections through the IFEMA grounds. Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is only minutes from the circuit.

Can I extend my trip after the Spanish Grand Prix?

Madrid pairs naturally with extensions to Toledo, Segovia, Andalusia (Seville, Granada, Cordoba), San Sebastian and the Basque country, or onward to Barcelona. Many guests add two to four extra nights either before the race weekend or after. Racing Passport plans the extension as part of the same trip.

Why book my Spanish Grand Prix trip with Racing Passport?

Robert and his team plan every detail personally. There is no automated booking platform and no agent rotation. The inquiry goes to Robert. He responds personally. The trip is built around your situation, not slotted into a fixed package.

How does the inquiry process work?

Fill out the two-minute inquiry form. Robert responds personally within a day or two. From there, the consultation covers hotel preference, viewing tier, group size, extensions, and budget range. The package is built after the conversation, not before.
