Yas Marina has hosted the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix since 2009 and the title fight has come down to this race more than once. Sunday's start runs into dusk and finishes under floodlights -- the only race on the calendar that begins in daylight and ends at night.
The circuit has been reshaped in recent years to encourage overtaking. Fast sweeping corners after the start, a stadium-style hairpin, the long back straight under the Yas Hotel canopy. Whoever wins this one closes the season holding the trophy.
Abu Dhabi is built for travelers who notice details.
One of the Middle East's standout destinations. The corniche, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World right next to the circuit. The hotel scene is among the strongest anywhere in the world. December weather is warm and dry.
The race weekend runs December 3–7, 2026. The package includes four nights. Easy to extend with stays in Dubai, the Emirates Palace, or a desert excursion before or after the race.

Questions about the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
When is the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?
Race day is Sunday, December 6, 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit, with the Racing Passport trip window running December 3 to 7. It is the closing race of the Formula 1 season, so the championship is settled here whether or not it is still open going in.
Why is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a day-to-night race?
The start is timed so the race begins in daylight and finishes under floodlights. It is the only Grand Prix on the calendar that does this. The light changes across the two hours, and the track temperature drops with it, which is part of why strategy at Yas Marina rarely plays out the way teams plan.
How many days should I plan for Abu Dhabi?
The package includes four nights, which covers the full race weekend without rushing. December weather is warm and dry, and Abu Dhabi is a genuinely good destination in its own right, so many guests add nights either side rather than flying in and straight out.
Where do I stay for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?
Featured properties include the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi and Rosewood Abu Dhabi. The hotel scene here is among the strongest anywhere in the world, which is unusual for a race weekend. Racing Passport matches the property to how you want the week to feel, not just to proximity.
What is there to do in Abu Dhabi beyond the race?
The corniche, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Ferrari World, which sits next to the circuit. Dubai is close enough for a night or two, and a desert excursion is easy to add before or after the race weekend.
How does the inquiry process work?
Fill out the two-minute inquiry form. Robert responds personally within a day or two. The consultation covers hotel preference, viewing tier, group size, extensions, and budget range. The package is built after the conversation, not before.
