Biography

Christian Rasmussen has built one of the most impressive junior careers in Road to Indy history. The Copenhagen-born Dane claimed his first karting championship in Denmark at just nine years old, and he has been collecting trophies at every level since. Rasmussen is just the second driver in history to win a championship at every tier of the Road to Indy ladder, capturing the USF2000 title in 2020, USF Pro 2000 in 2021, and the Indy NXT championship in 2023.

That remarkable run through the junior ranks earned Rasmussen a place in the NTT IndyCar Series with Ed Carpenter Racing, where he made 14 starts as a rookie in 2024. He adapted quickly to the demands of the top tier, earning two podium finishes and showing particular strength on oval circuits. His breakthrough moment came in his second season when he claimed his first career IndyCar victory at the Milwaukee Mile, proving that his success in the junior series was no fluke.
